MEET THE FOUNDER

Malcolm Williams grew up in Maple Ridge, BC, as a multi-sport athlete, competing at a high level in basketball, football, soccer, and lacrosse. His athletic journey took him to UBC, where he began playing university basketball before making the switch to football—a decision that ultimately led to a five-year career in the Canadian Football League.

Throughout his professional career, Malcolm played with the Toronto Argonauts, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and Ottawa REDBLACKS, becoming a two-time Grey Cup Champion in 2017 and 2019.

But Malcolm’s passion has always extended beyond his own athletic career.

While playing professionally, he began working with the Washington Kids Foundation, mentoring, training, and supporting youth both in schools and at the Foundation’s facility in Surrey, BC. After retiring from professional football in 2021, Malcolm continued that work full-time.

Today, Malcolm brings more than 10 years of experience working with youth, from at-risk youth to developing athletes. His experience has shaped his belief that becoming a great athlete is about more than physical ability alone.

That belief is at the heart of The Athlete’s Trinity: Strength. Flexibility. Mindfulness.

Through The Athlete’s Trinity, Malcolm is excited to help young athletes become stronger, move better, build confidence, develop resilience, and create habits that will serve them both in sport and in life.

Outside of coaching, Malcolm is a proud husband and father to three children.
